Whilst this Easter break isn’t quite what we had in mind, we’re trying to embrace the uniqueness of the current situation at Ever New by leaning into quiet time with our families, partners, and pets. Read on to discover what a few members of our head office in Melbourne, Australia are planning to do this long weekend.

Felicity – PR & Comms

This Easter Sunday, my mum, sister, and I will be trying to perfect the hot cross bun over FaceTime. We’re planning on then dropping each of our respective hot cross bun efforts at each other’s houses and judging a winner.

Rebecca – Production

Thankfully I’m still living with siblings, so we have decided to take a walk down memory lane and organise an Easter egg hunt in our backyard. We will film this and send to our parents who live rurally. Afterwards, we will enjoy hot cross buns and a movie together.

Callum - Planning

This Easter, my partner and I will be spending the additional time catching up with friends and family here in Australia and in the UK. We will be doing virtual board games, a quiz and maybe even a silent disco. On Easter Sunday, we will be looking to have a traditional roast dinner with all the trimmings followed by some Easter chocolates and hopefully a nice sunny afternoon in the garden.

Rachael – PR & Comms

This Easter will be spent with my husband and our dog at home. Like many others, we will stay home and connect with our families over FaceTime. Thank gosh for technology, we can be there virtually to celebrate our new baby niece's first Easter whilst eating lots of Cadbury chocolate and sharing hot cross buns.

Veronica - Brand & Marketing

My partner and I will be spending Easter in our apartment together and catch up with family virtually. I'll do some baking, yoga and hopefully get outside for a long walk if the weather's nice.

Amelia – Brand & Marketing

I’ll be setting up a garden Easter egg hunt for my two-year-old and calling family over a long lunch.
