Mastering Transeasonal Dressing With Influencer @Aniab

Dressing for springtime in Canada is never an easy feat. While other parts of the world are celebrating sunshine and spring blooms, we’re still tackling cold, winter-like temperatures; bundling up in our coats, chunky knit sweaters and cool weather accessories.

So just how does one master the winter-spring style transition while still looking ultra-chic?

Canadian-based fashion influencer @aniab road-tested her favourite pieces from Ever New’s latest spring collection, styling them all the way from chilly Vancouver to the perennially warm California desert.

Her top tip for the last of the cool days? Layering, and lots of it.

“Invest in layers that you can easily shed throughout the days leading up to warmer weather. Sweaters, coats and pieces that are easy to build on should always be on standby in your closet.”

THE OVERSIZED SWEATER

“A piece like the Lori V-neck sweater not only complements a great pair of skinny jeans, it goes perfectly with a silky satin dress. Play with proportions by juxtaposing your oversized sweater with a soft, flirty silhouette.”

THE LONG-SLEEVED MINI DRESS

“Itching to wear that new mini dress? Layer your shorter spring dresses with basics like turtleneck sweaters and long-sleeved tees for an unexpected twist. Additionally, a pair of tall boots will elevate any look.”

THE STATEMENT COAT

“Throw on a jacket for those cooler mornings. In a luxury wool-blend, the Isla belted check coat is one of my favourite pieces in the collection.”
